How can we foster a love of reading in the current digital age? This is a question many educators around the world are faced with. We know the importance of reading for developing a range of skills and abilities and expanding our learners’ knowledge of the world, but how do we help learners to become lifelong readers? In this interactive session, we will share practical suggestions for how to develop your young learners’ literacy skills while also showing them the joy of reading. We'll use examples from the latest language and literacy young learner program from National Geographic Learning, Trailblazer, and its Literacy Anthology.
