SEAN BERMINGHAM

OVERVIEW

What makes a city liveable? Can we trust the media? When are risks worth taking? In this webinar, we’ll examine how ‘Essential Questions’ like these can spark lively and effective communication in the English language classroom. Drawing on examples from the second edition of 21st Century Communication, we’ll also explore how big ideas from TED and National Geographic can be a fantastic tool for developing important academic and life skills, including note-taking, critical thinking, and presentation skills.
