Project-based Learning (PBL) is a form of learning that revolves around solving actual, real problems. Because it adds practical meaning and authentic context to problem-solving, PBL is an effective way to learn something new and remember it for a long time. As business visionary and innovator Elon Musk said, “our brain has evolved to discard information that it thinks has irrelevance.” How can we then add relevance to language content using PBL, so that the learning process becomes incredibly more robust, effective, and fun? Join us for a thought-provoking session where we explore linking learning theory and the science of teaching and learning by doing to make PBL work effectively in the ELT classroom.
