This session aims to explore effective classroom management strategies to create a positive and engaging learning environment. By unraveling key principles of class management, participants will gain insights into fostering a classroom culture where students feel safe, respected, and valued. The session will also emphasize the importance of actively engaging students in the learning process through creative teaching methods and differentiating instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs. Ultimately, participants will focus on reflecting on current practices and continuously adapting strategies to meet the evolving needs of students, ensuring an ongoing process of improvement and adaptability.

Franz Hoppenstedt is an Educational Consultant with over 25 years working in Education. He began his career as a teacher, later becoming a teacher coordinator, teacher trainer, conference speaker and educational consultant. He has trained teachers in public, private and language schools across the Latin American region, and for the last 15 years, he has been helping educational institutions in countries such as Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Colombia, and Peru. He has participated as a speaker in both National and International conferences in Latin America such as MEXTESOL, BBELT, FIID, TESOL, the “Congreso de Educación a la Vanguardia” for MEDUCA in Panama, a National Educational Congress in Costa Rica, and a Training Tour for teachers across Peru. He is convinced that the most effective way to change the world is through education, so he has dedicated his life to change one teacher at a time, so they have the right skills and mindsets to help their students.
