This session focuses on how to initiate or strengthen reading practices in English, no matter the starting point. Using simple and actionable strategies, educators will explore how to create the conditions necessary for reading to become a meaningful experience—even in settings without an established reading program. The session will share ideas to spark curiosity, build a reading community, and connect reading with personal development. 

María Trapero is passionate about education and believes in the importance of the role of the teachers and the difference they make in their students’ lives. She has devoted her professional life to English Language Teaching and advocating for teachers. She holds a BA in Pedagogy, a MD in Education and several diplomas and certifications as an English Language Teacher and a Teacher Trainer.
