Segment: Teaching Teens and Adults

Hosted by: National Geographic Learning Asia

Category: Model Lesson

Presenter: Andrew Tiffany

In this model lesson for English teachers from the new Life, Third Edition program, we learn more about learning — tools we use to learn, our learning journeys, and how to boost our memory. As well as practicing English language skills such as using present perfect tense, this unit lets us explore how we learn, use critical thinking to identify supporting evidence, and engage in visual literacy activities with graphical and video content. Join us to see how this unit of Life, Third Edition helps students to develop a range of future-readiness skills while also helping them to learn and practice English.

Andrew Tiffany is a Senior Academic Consultant and teacher trainer for National Geographic Learning.  Andrew has over 25 years of teaching experience, 18 of which were focused on teaching and teacher training in Asia.  He has a Masters degree and TEFL certification and has worked with both EFL learners and international school learners from PreK-12, both in English and subject content.
